It did not take us long to recognize the potential of using Text Marketing to promote our member merchants, their brand, their message and grow this BuyLocal initiative. It was more about finding the right partner. After meeting with Betsy Kluska of A+ Text Marketing Solutions based in Albany, we decided to integrate this service into our overall communication method.

Launched by Juergen Klingenberg, owner of Ballston Spa-based Hound dog Graphics, in January 2010, Local Living In is a buy local marketing strategy that connects small businesses between Albany and Lake George with the consumers in their communities.

Buy Local, save local: Company’s card links customers, merchants

That’s the question posed to small businesses by Local Living In, a Ballston Spa-based marketing company geared toward driving local consumers into local businesses.
“Local Living In is more of a concept than an actual company,” founder Juergen Klingenberg said. “It’s designed to cater to and support small businesses by bridging the gap between the local consumer and the merchant.”
