Malta League of Arts Awarded $1,000 Grant for Annual Visual Art Exhibit – Arts Attitude
MALTA, NY – The up and coming local arts non-profit, Malta League of Arts (MLA) is a recent recipient of a $1,000 grant from the Saratoga Gaming and Raceway Foundation. The grant is designated to assist the MLA promote and expand its growing arts expo, Arts Attitude, in 2012. The exhibit showcases the work and talent of local and regional artists.
“The Malta League of Arts is honored to receive this gift from the Saratoga Gaming and Raceway Foundation,” said MLA Board President and Town of Malta Councilwoman Tara Thomas. “Arts Attitude garnered a lot of excitement and interest from artists who wished to participate, but we couldn’t accommodate them all. This grant will give the League the tools and resources to include more artists and expand our reach in the community to encourage their participation and enjoyment of the arts.”
MLA will use the funds in its promotions and publicity efforts in addition to procuring supplies to accommodate more artists at Arts Attitude. MLA is proud to have the support of the Saratoga Gaming and Raceway Foundation, which has awarded over $30,000 throughout Saratoga County. The Foundation is focused on helping communities improve and expand access to educational and arts and cultural opportunities in the region.
