Yes, Eyebrow waxing and shaping. In my opinion eyebrows are a person’s most important facial feature. They not only frame our eyes, providing balance to the face, but they are used to convey exactly how we are feeling at any given moment. Symmetry is not always easy to achieve, since the face and its features are never symmetrical.

Most people don’t realize what a difference it makes until they see it fi rsthand. In some cases it is like a natural face lift, it opens the eyes up providing the maximum facial enhancement. My clients also rave about my facial massage techniques which brings me a lot of referral business for facials as well.

What is your favorite thing about your business?

I feel strongly about the health and wellness aspect of my industry. Sharing my knowledge and treatments with my clients, and being able to enjoy the results with them, is very fulfi lling to me. Helping people relax and enhancing their appearance at the same time is a wonderful thing!

What are your biggest challenges? Becoming comfortable with the world of business has been my biggest challenge. I enjoy the hands on portion of my profession, however, I am still adjusting to all the other necessary tasks involved with running my own business. Fortunately, my husband has many years of business experience, and continues to help me through these challenges, teaching me something new every day.

What do you want the community to know about you?

Rather than just another spa service, I take a more holistic approach with my commitment to my clients’ total body and mind well-being. I am motivated, trained, and passionate about providing positive change and natural enhancement in my clients’ lives. I truly love what I do, and feel it shows in every service I provide. I believe setting a little time aside for your self is critical in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Whether it be a walk, reading your favorite book, or treating yourself to a rejuvenating spa service, you have to make time for you!

Anything else? After my family was deeply touched by cancer, I decided to educate myself, and became certified in Clinical Oncology Esthetics®. Now I can feel confident in performing gentle, yet effective services using natural skin care ingredients, allowing me to safely serve a very deserving client base with health-compromised skin. I enjoy being able to offer a soothing escape for individuals battling cancer.
