As part of the Local Living In "BuyLocal" initiative and the our overall strategy for economic growth, the goal of BuyLocal Campaign is simply to connect the businesses in your region with the buying power of our local community.BuyLocal is intended to be a year-round program that supports and strengthens local businesses and local jobs and keeps more dollars spent in our community.
Registered merchants are encouraged to offer special offers or discounts exclusive to BuyLocal consumers. Thousands of FREE wallet-sized BuyLocal consumer cards are being distributed to consumers (Starting March 2011), driving them to support registered businesses and take advantage of BuyLocal special offers and discounts. Consumers will present their BuyLocal consumer card to the merchant when making their purchase to benefit from the offer.
